Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.

Before I was a Mom
I had never been puked, pooped, chewed, or peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.I never looked into teary eyes and cried.

Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn'twant to put them down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.

Before I was a Mom
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so importantand happy.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom

Not returning to Work !!!

You will quickly notice most of my blogs will be about Elianna.
Like I said she is my everything !!

She's a cheeky Lil Monkey too !!

I really wish I had a better cam, lol. But we do alright with the one we do have.

So I have decided to NOT return to work !!

YEA ! ! ! ! ! !

I dropped off my "not returning" letters to both my previous jobs this week.
I knew I wasnt going to go back from the time Elianna was about 4 months old.
I can not imagine another person looking after MY daughter.
"I am" not ready to have her left alone without me.

I've decided I'm going to do home daycare.
I think it should be MY right to stay home and raise my child.
I know A Lot of people dont agree with that but I don't care, lol.
I've been told "oh you'll regret not putting her in day care while she's young"
Well I don't care, it's my choice.
Oh and when I say to people "Elianna sleeps in my bed !" HaHa you should hear the reaction.
You swear I was putting her in a cage to sleep. lol Elianna starts in her own crib and if she wakes during the night I put her in my bed with me.
IT WORKS FOR US !!!
It's just her and I, and I do not do well on little sleep. At All !! lol.
I like having her beside me. I love waking up next to her in the morning. And we both usually get a good night sleep.

So what if Eli is 5 years old and still wants to sleep with her mommy.
They grow so fast that before I know it Elianna will be 15 years old and not want to hang out with her ol' mother.
At least THEN I will be able to look back and know that I didn't miss anything nor will I regret any loss time for cuddling. Even if it happens to be in mommy's bed at 1am. LOL

My First entry

Omg, ok so I somehow managed to lose my other Blog.
So this is now my new blog, lol

I'll start by posting some recent pics of Elianna.
I can hardly believe how big she is getting.

She should be walking in no time. I'm dreading that, lol.
Having a lil two foot person running around touching anything she can get her hands on and not knowing what "No Don't Touch" means. LOL . Between her constantly climbing the stairs, eating cat food or playing in the bowl of cat water, she defently keeps me hopping, lol.

In this pic, I left her alone for two seconds to put away some laundry, She tossed anything she could fine into the tub and almost rolled out the entire roll of toilet paper

She's a lil Diva in the making, lol HaHa

And she LOVES the computer.
I don't get a lot of time to be on the PC till she goes to bed.
She will fight me now to "bang" on the keyboard. lol

The older she gets the more I keep thinking OMG I no longer have a lil baby,
I Have a KID !!!! LOL
